Faith Danielle Hedgepeth
September 26, 1992 - September 7, 2012
Our Faith had a heart of gold and an infectious smile that illumined a room. Although her time on earth was short, Faith had an enormous impact on many. Our lives were forever changed when Faith was taken from us on September 7, 2012.
We are relieved to know that someone has been arrested in Faith’s case. We thank the members of the Chapel Hill Police Department, NC State Bureau of Investigation, and other agencies that had a hand in the investigation. We are grateful for all the support that we have received across the country over the past nine years. As we move into this next phase, we ask for your continued support, patience, and understanding as we limit commenting on the investigation.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
The Hedgepeth Family
This website is dedicated solely to remembering life and seeking justice for Faith Danielle Hedgepeth.
On September 7, 2012, the world lost a remarkable and inspirational young lady, who achieved so much and touched the lives of so many people in her short life.
We continue to celebrate Faith’s life and we put our trust in God that her murder will one day be solved.
Anyone with information should call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-614-6363 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.
This scholarship was created to commemorate and honor the life of a vibrant and loving American Indian woman. Faith was very dedicated to her family, friends, community, church and tribe. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a female, connected to a recognized American Indian Tribe in North Carolina by proven membership or ancestry, and an incoming freshman at a 4-year college or university. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded during each academic year. All completed applications must be submitted to the

Faith Danielle Hedgepeth would have been twenty-nine years old on September 26, but her life was brutally cut short on September 7, 2012. Faith was still a teenager - just a few weeks shy of her 20th birthday.
Each September we gather to remember Faith and to raise money for the scholarship in memory of Faith. Family, friends, and the community have an opportunity to take a justiceforfaith photo during the fundraiser. Although we are not gathering in person this year, we want to continue this tradition. We encourage each of you to post your own #JusticeforFaith photo on Facebook between now and September 26.
Help us celebrate Faith's life and continue to make people aware of her unsolved homicide. Please remember to use the hashtag #justiceforfaith and #J4F.
